My Favorite PS3 Games
Sony is the greatest – PS3 is the best home entertainment system (in my opinion) and is a little bit better than the wii and/or XBOX 360. These games are the ones you should get if you have, or thinking about getting a PS3. These are PS3 games that I have now, and I think that these are “must have” for every PS3 owner. There are also great games that I really want, like NBA Street Homecourt, Resistance:Fall of Man, Red Dead Redemption, etc, but I didn’t play them so I can’t rate ‘em. Hope you’ll enjoy the list.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
MGS4: Guns of the Patriots was the the most technically stunning video game ever made at the time of publishing. I just loved MGS since PSX and Kojima’s masterpiece. MGS4 is a fine example of storytelling prowess within its medium, combining gameplay and narrative so slickly and beautifully that it’s impossible to extricate one from the other. It’s difficult not to sound hyperbolic when discussing MGS4 because every part of its design seemingly fulfills the vision, without compromise. If the story-heavy presentation of previous Metal Gear games taxed your patience, Metal Gear Solid 4 won’t change your mind. For anyone who appreciates games that rise above the simple act of pushing a few buttons and pulling a few triggers, Metal Gear Solid 4 is a stimulating ride that you won’t soon forget. You’ll want to see what happens next, yet when its long campaign draws to a close, you’ll wish it would continue. That’s not just because it’s a well-told tale, but because that tale is woven through a thoroughly impressive game that tops its predecessors.

God of War III
When I bought PS2, I was completely in the sports – with PES, 2K basketball, MLB..; then, a friend brought me first GoW – it was contagious experience : ) Since then, I bought PS3, have played few good games, and waited for God of War 3. It is the first game in the series built from the ground up for the PlayStation 3, and the team behind the title spared no detail; the game feels like it has been painted on your screen. The game is rated Mature, meaning it’s aimed at gamers above the age of 17, and the back of the box lists the expected warnings about nudity and graphic violence. Still, those are just words on the back of a box on a store shelf. Sure, the game is violent, but how bad can it be? If violence makes you queasy, or if you’re a parent, be advised: this game is out there!

Grand Theft Auto IV
The series that had been cheered (and criticized) for glorifying violence has taken an unexpected turn: it’s gone legit. Well, sure, you’ll still blow up cop cars, run down innocent civilians, bang hookers, assist drug dealers and do many, many other bad deeds, but at price of Niko’s very soul. Anyway, Rockstar gives us characters and a world with a level of depth previously unseen in gaming. And, this is one of the games that I can play over and over!

Gran Turismo 5
Gran Turismo 5 has been in production for amazing six years. Polyphony Digital have cultivated a reputation for pathological attention to detail, and that’s what we players appreciate. I’m still playing GT mode, and I’ll never get tired of it. Simply, the greatest driving simulation for PS3!

Mirror’s Edge
You know what parkour is? Well, this game is just like that “sport” – flawless runs that can provide a total adrenaline rush. This fascinating action platformer possesses its share of innovations, from a first-person perspective to a clean and crisp visual style. Yes, it has frustrating amount of trial and error, cramped jumping puzzles that trip up the momentum, and its combat and gunplay are weak – but it is amazing game. We want more Faith’s adventures!

PES 2011
Is it really necessary to say something about the greatest football game ever? If you have friends like I do – you’ll never get bored of football! We play tournaments for money, and those matches are like real game; adrenaline rush, tension, joy of winning and sadness of defeats… Konami rulez!

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
This is the most fun I’ve had in a videogame yet. I was, hm, little skeptical about the game; Naughty Dog, developers of Jak & Daxter, can they really make it? Well, time had show: they did it, they did really great job. Uncharted does what few titles manage – it completely immerses you in its experience; it’ll maintain that hold with its story, style and gameplay. I don’t know what other players think, but until I get Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, I will play this great game!
