Who or what is Danbo?
Danboard or Danbo for short is Miura Hayasaka in a cardboard box suit from the Japanese manga series Yotsuba. The figure is plastic, has movable joints, light up eyes and stands around 5" tall. There are several versions of Danbo.
Although having very few facial features Danbo manages to put across a lot of emotion which is enhanced by its positioning and surroundings, thus making it ideal for photography.
