Does This Violate the Privacy of the Passengers

British airline says it is part of the new Know Me program, which includes passengers so that staff could match the name with a face before the passenger even sets the foot on the airport, but does this violate the privacy of the passengers? The last system improvements allow the airline team to check some of the passengers using Google Images. Although this company has superficially checked some VIP personalities (such as chairmen of various financial companies) so far, this new measure goes beyond checking only VIP persons, and applies to absolutely everyone on board. Search results will be forwarded to staff who has a direct contact with passengers, so they will see the passengers on their IPads, in order to be more intimate and “warm” with them. While many are concerned about their privacy, this practice is used in British hotels for years and was a much less detailed than security checks at the airport.
